Short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, no CV uploads, no newsletter.
- No cookies and no tracking or advertising scripts.
- Your saved jobs, applications, hidden companies and settings are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). We never receive them. You can delete them any time with “Delete all my local data”.

Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by [Cloudflare Pages / GitHub Pages]. When you open the site, the host processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of access in server logs to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). [Add the host's name, address and a link to its privacy policy and data processing terms.]
Job database
Job searches are sent to our database hosted by Supabase in the EU region [Frankfurt]. A search contains only your search terms and filters (including companies and words you chose to hide); it contains no name, account or other personal data, and we don't store search requests. Supabase processes your IP address to deliver the response (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). [Link to Supabase DPA.]
“I got hired” counter
If you click “Yes, I got hired!”, we store only the time of the click to update a public counter. Nothing else is stored.
Local storage in your browser
We use your browser's localStorage only for features you actively use (saved jobs, applied list, hidden companies, theme). This is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). The data never leaves your device.
Support / donations
The “Support” button links to Ko-fi. If you choose to pay, Ko-fi and its payment providers process your data under their own privacy policy. We receive only what Ko-fi shows us (e.g. a name you choose to display).
Partner (affiliate) links and sponsor
Some links on the Resources page and in guides are partner links, marked “Partner link”. This site doesn't set any cookie or tracker for them. If you click one, the partner (or its affiliate network) may set its own cookie on its site to recognise that you came from us, and may pay us a commission if you sign up. That happens under the partner's own privacy policy. The sponsor box is a plain link, with no tracking.
Company map
The map on the Companies page is off until you click “Show map”. Only then does your browser load map images (tiles) from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, UK; privacy policy), which receives your IP address to deliver them (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent). If you tick “Remember my choice”, that choice is stored only in your browser's localStorage. The map code itself is hosted on this site. City coordinates are looked up in advance on our side (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) and contain no visitor data.
External links
Job postings link to the original employer or job board. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).
