Mechanical Design Engineer – Electromechanical Assemblies (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Design and development of mechanical components and mounting brackets for electromechanical assemblies
• Planning and providing engineering support for cable routing in vehicles and technical equipment
• Preparation of CAD drawings, technical documentation and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Coordination with internal departments and external engineering partners
• Support in defining and maintaining technical specifications, e.g. in DOORS
• Documentation of design changes to vehicle platforms
• Supporting the development process from concept through to series production

Your profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the design of mechanical or electromechanical assemblies
• Good CAD skills and a sound technical understanding of electrical component integration
• Very good command of German
• Independent, structured and reliable working style
• German citizenship

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens NX and PDM systems
• Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management
• Experience working with external engineering partners
• Good command of English and willingness to travel occasionally
