The role

Own manufacturing processes for high-precision CNC components from feasibility to series production: new part introduction, process validation, quality and continuous improvement.

You sit between engineering, production and the customer. In a young factory that also means commissioning machines, sourcing inspection equipment and helping build our quality system.

What you'll do

• Lead new part introductions from feasibility and process planning to series readiness.
• Create work plans, fixturing concepts and inspection plans.
• Run process FMEAs and root cause analysis, and work with CAM programmers to cut cycle times and raise first-time-right rates.
• Help build our EN 9100 quality management system.
• Be the technical contact for customers on manufacturing questions and DFM feedback.

What we're looking for

• A degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in CNC machining or manufacturing planning.
• A strong understanding of machining processes, materials and tolerances.
• Confident with CAD/CAM, complex drawings and GD&T.
• Analytical, structured and self-directed.

Nice to have

• Aerospace or defence manufacturing.
• EN 9100 or AS9100 knowledge or implementation.
• FMEA, SPC or Six Sigma.
• MES or digital manufacturing systems.
• An interest in robotics, automation and data-driven manufacturing.
